Eddie's BBQ started from a love of barbeque and a desire to bring this excellent cuisine to the Narragansett area. Owner and Executive Chef, Steven, is a Johnson and Wales University graduate and has worked in the culinary field for over 20 years! He originally started cooking at a local pub/restaurant in high school and fell in love with the beauty of making people happy with the food he created. Fast forward 20 years, countless meals served, and his love for food (especially of the BBQ persuasion) drew him to start this mobile food truck business and restaurant - and hopefully a BBQ revolution in South County, RI!
WHO IS EDDIE?
Many people have asked us why the business is named Eddie’s BBQ when the Owner and Executive Chef is named Steve. Well, Eddie is Steve’s older brother. Eddie is a special kind of guy who has taught Steve a lot over the years. He has taught Steve to be patient and kind, to always see what new and exciting things can be discovered each day, and to smile even when the times are tough. In short, Steve named the business after Eddie since he has taught Steve so much!
